Who We Are.
The Pathways Project Coalition of the Ozarks was founded on the belief that every person deserves dignity, safety, and the opportunity to rebuild their life. We are a nonprofit organization made up of passionate advocates, community leaders, volunteers, survivors, and partners who work together to meet people where they are and walk alongside them toward a brighter future.

Our organization focuses on providing practical resources, compassionate support, and community connections that empower individuals and families to move from crisis to stability. We believe lasting change happens when communities unite with purpose, compassion, and action.
We are the only organization providing 30-90 day crisis care for trafficking survivors in Stone & Taney County.
How We Started
In August 2023, the founder Veloris was invited as a victims advocate for a multi-agency operation in Atlanta GA. After listening to the stories of the girls and hearing the pain behind their trauma, she felt a call to get involved.
“I discovered that sex trafficking was happening in every corner of America, even rural communities like my own. I talked to every agency I could find who was working in the anti-trafficking space so I could understand what was happening and where we could make a difference.”
Veloris heard that there are not enough agencies offering crisis care or long- term programming to help these girls rebuild their lives.
“Over several coffee conversations, my friend, Nikki Kinney and I hammered out our name, our mission, and then we got to work.”
We started with educating our community, law enforcement, healthcare workers, and other frontline agencies. Once we opened a 24/7 crisis line, we started receiving calls for help. Three years later, we were able to open our Pathways to Hope Advocacy Center where we offer a 30-90 day stabilization and crisis case management to vulnerable individuals exiting trafficking situations.
Our Mission
We educate our community about sex trafficking, protect and support vulnerable youth, and empower survivors as they begin their journey toward healing —offering hope, advocacy, and care through the Pathways to Hope Advocacy Center.

Our Vision
We envision a community where every individual is informed about sex trafficking, vulnerable youth are protected, and survivors are supported with accessible pathways to healing and restoration - while contributing to global efforts to eradicate sex trafficking.
What We Do
Through outreach programs, advocacy efforts, prevention education, and collaborative partnerships, we work to address the complex challenges facing vulnerable individuals in our region.
Pathways to Hope Advocacy Center
Our Pathways to Hope Advocacy Center serves as a safe and supportive place for individuals experiencing crisis in exploitation and sex trafficking. The center is designed to meet immediate needs while helping survirors develop a personalized pathway toward healing, stability, and independence.
30–90 Day Stabilization Program
The foundation of our Advocacy Center is our 30–90 Day Stabilization Program. This program provides intensive support during the critical first three months of recovery and transition. Participants receive individualized guidance, advocacy, resource coordination, and support services designed to help them establish safety and stability.

Our Approach

By meeting immediate needs and providing consistent support, we help sex trafficking survivors move from crisis to confidence, creating sustainable pathways toward healing, freedom, and long-term success.

Why It Matters
Sex trafficking and exploitation exist in every community, including the Ozarks. Many individuals facing crises feel unseen, unheard, and alone.
